Biography: Stephen Hall is an Australian television writer and actor with dozens of credits to his name. TV Burp, Full Frontal, Comedy Inc, Adam Hills Tonight, BackBerner, Russell Gilbert Was Here, In Melbourne Tonight, Newstopia and Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell are just some of the shows he’s written for, in a career that dates back to 1996. As an actor, he’s been in some 30 TV shows, four movies, two stage musicals, and several Melbourne International Comedy Festival shows. In 2016, he was hand-picked by John Cleese to play the role of Basil Fawlty in the world premiere season of Mr Cleese's play Fawlty Towers Live. Symphony Under Siege is his first novel, and he is currently quite tired.
